CASE: a centre of excellence in Medical Simulation
Mehmet Emin Aksoy graduated as a Family Physician Specialist from Istanbul Taksim Training Hospital. After he has got M.Sc. degree from Biomedical Engineering Department, he has been conferred upon Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering. Dr.Aksoy is founder and executive board member of NASCE (Network of Accredited Skills Centers in Europe). He has been serving as the director of CASE at Acıbadem University since 2013 and as the chairman of NASCE (Network of Accredited Skills Centers in Europe since 2018.
Harvard Medical School
George C. Velmahos is the John F. Burke Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Chief of Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Velmahos has published over 500 peer-reviewed articles, over 50 books and book chapters, scores of abstracts, editorials, clinical communications and online educational modules. He has a strong interest on trauma research and is committed to the education of the new generation of surgeons.
PROFESSOR @ University of Athens
George Zografos is a Professor of Surgery at Medical School in University of Athens as well as the Depury Dean of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the lead of Breast Unit in the 1st Department of Propaedeutic Surgery at Hippokratio Hospital in Athens. His activity in research, writing and editorial work is really huge, as he has more than 300 publications in international refereed journals.

Sharing our vision to "train the future trainers"
Dilek Kitapcioglu is medical expert in Anaesthesioloy & Reanimation. She was among the founders of Turkish Ministry of Health Simmerk Medical Simulation Center and worked as consultant during the design of “I-Sim Virtual Hospital” project. She has been the Vice Director of CASE (Center of Advanced Simulation and Education) and a formal faculty member of Acibadem University Medical Education Department . Dr.Kitapcioglu is a board member of NASCE (Network of Accredited Skills Centers in Europe) Accreditation review board and coordinator of the “NASCE European Train the Trainer Courses”.

Professor Vassilios Papalois is professor of transplantation surgery and consultant transplant and general surgeon at Hammersmith Hospital. He leads a Transplant Centre of Excellence focusing on high risk and extended criteria kidney and pancreas transplantation. He is the Secretary General of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), the Secretary General of the European Society of Organ Transplantation (ESOT), a member of the Executive Board of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI), a member of Council of the British Transplantation Society (BTS) and the European Society of Surgery (ESS).

Mr Savvas Papagrigoriadis has been a Consultant in Colorectal Surgery at King's College Hospital London and also a Senior Lecturer in Surgery of King's College London (2001-2015). He works as a medicolegal expert witness to the courts for the UK and other countries and he is a Member of the Expert Witness Institute. disease. He is currently the Director of the Colorectal Surgery Department at Metropolitan General Hospital.
